House Rules
Dear friends:
These are just a few rules that we expect all our Keystone, Colorado rental guests to observe. Our primary house rule, of course, is for you to treat our Keystone, Colorado rental house as your own. During your stay, we expect you to maintain the peak condition of the property, as well as the cleanliness of its surroundings.
- There is no smoking allowed in the Keystone, Colorado rental house.
- Please enter and exit the house through the garage when wearing ski boots.
- Please remove all footwear, especially ski boots, before entering the house.
- No pets, please.
- The Hot Tub: In order for the hot tub to work properly, the water level must be above the hole where the filter is located. The filter intake is located about six inches below the top to the tub. As you are standing on the platform to enter the hot tub, the filter intake is on the far side of the tub covered by a black access ring. A sign that the water is too low will be a sucking sound as the system tries to pump water through the filter and heater but can only get air. If you have too many people in the hot tub, the water will overflow. When everybody exits the tub, the water level will then drop down below the filter intake hole. There is a hose provided in the house (usually in the laundry room) to refill the tub to above the intake line. The outside faucet is located under the deck. The hose cannot be left outside in the winter connected to the faucet (the pipe/faucet will freeze and break if the hose is left attached). If you allow the water in the hot tub to fall below the intake line or leave the hose attached to the faucet, you will forfeit your deposit. So, whenever you exit the tub, before putting the cover back on, please be sure that the water is at the proper level. If you have any questions, please call us. We do apologize, however; for the benefit if the guests arriving immediately after you, this policy was adopted. If you arrive at the house and the tub is not at the proper level, please let us know.
